Create an Annual Ambridge Cultural Festival

Ambridge is a district rich in cultural diversity, community spirit, and local talent — yet it currently lacks a dedicated annual event that brings all of that together in one place. An annual cultural festival would give residents, local artists, businesses, and community groups a shared platform to celebrate what makes Ambridge unique, while drawing visitors and strengthening the local economy.

This petition calls on the Cultural Festivals & Events Licensing Committee to make that vision a reality by formally establishing and supporting an annual Ambridge Cultural Festival.

Ambridge has no recurring large-scale community cultural event to showcase its diversity and local talent. Cities and districts of comparable size across the region have seen measurable boosts in tourism, local trade, and community cohesion through annual festivals. Without such an event, Ambridge risks falling behind in cultural visibility and civic pride.
