Cllr Laura Wilson

Laura Wilson is a Labour councillor for Ambridge Heath (2026–2031). A dedicated volunteer for various local arts charities, Laura’s political focus is on Transport. She argues that without an affordable and reliable public transport network, the cultural and economic life of Ambridge Heath will remain inaccessible to many. She is currently campaigning for increased bus frequency and the introduction of community-led shuttle services for the elderly.

Laura’s background in the arts makes her a creative problem-solver on the council. She believes that transport hubs should also serve as community spaces, featuring local art and information kiosks. In her personal life, Laura is an amateur painter and organizes an annual street art festival that brings together diverse groups from across the ward.
