Biography

Michael Taylor represents Riverside Quarter as a Reform UK concillor (2026–2031). With a background as a lifelong community organizer, Michael dictates his years to youth programs, helping provide local teens with the skills and opportunities needed to succeed. His political focus has shifted toward the Environment, specifically the protection and cleaning of the local riverways that define his ward. He believes that the neglect of public spaces contributes to a decline in community pride and safety.

Michael is a straight-talker who prides himself on being a voice for the working-class residents of Riverside. He is particularly skeptical of the "top-down" approach often taken by the larger political parties and is a strong supporter of direct community action. In his spare time, he coaches a youth football team and is a keen angler, which fuels his passion for maintaining the health of Ambridge’s rivers.
