Biography
John Edwards is a current Labour councillor, elected in 2013 and serving until 2029. As a school teacher, his political focus is on school infrastructure and public services. He is a passionate advocate for Ambridges youth, and he believes that a strong educational system is the foundation for a prosperous community. Edwards is keenly aware of the challenges facing local schools, including budget constraints and the need for modern infrastructure. He holds his councillor surgeries at The Gables Community Centre on the second Friday of every month.
