County Council Regional Tier Election 2026

This regional tier election determines the composition of the County Council, which manages strategic infrastructure broader than the immediate District Council’s reach. Voters across the wards will select regional councillors tasked with administering major strategic services, including county highways, education authorities, adult social care, and emergency services planning. The election utilizes the First Past the Post system to decide the individual representative for this regional county division.
