The council hereby gives formal notice that it has approved a three-year extension of the Public Space Protection Order governing dog control across the parish. This extended order mandates that all handlers must immediately remove feces deposited by their dogs on any piece of public land within the parish boundaries. Furthermore, dogs must be kept securely on a lead at all times when inside the village cemetery and fenced play areas. Failure to comply with these regulations constitutes a summary offense and can result in an immediate Fixed Penalty Notice of £100. Regular enforcement patrols will be conducted by authorized council wardens and local neighborhood policing teams to ensure community compliance. The complete text of the order, including detailed maps of the restricted zones, is available for inspection at the Parish Office. This protective measure aims to maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe outdoor environment for all members of the community.
