Overview
Residents are invited to give feedback on proposed changes to waste collection services, including the introduction of food waste bins, changes to recycling bag colours and collection days, and a new bulky waste booking system. The council also seeks views on a proposed charge for garden waste collection.
Background Information
Ambridge currently diverts 52% of household waste from landfill, below the government's 65% target for 2035. A service review commissioned in 2025 identified food waste separation and improved recycling communications as the most cost-effective routes to improving diversion rates and reducing the council's carbon footprint.
