Statutory notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 s.14(1) of a proposed Temporary Traffic Regulation Order to close Market Street, Corn Exchange Square, and the central High Street in two phases (January–April 2027 and April–July 2027) during the Town Centre Public Realm Improvement Scheme construction. Pedestrian access to all businesses maintained; vehicular delivery access available in designated windows. Diversion routes set out in full. Representations must be received by 17 November 2026.
