Cllr Emma Brown

Emma Brown is a Liberal Democrat councillor for Old Town County (2026–2030). As a resident who has seen the ward change significantly over the years, she is passionate about improving the lives of her neighbors. Her political focus is on Local Business, drawing from her experience as a consultant for startups. Emma believes that the transition to the Unitary Authority provides a unique opportunity to revitalize the high street by cutting red tape for small retailers and artisans.

Emma is a proactive member of the council, often found drafting proposals for pedestrian-friendly zones that she believes will increase footfall for local shops. She is also a mentor for young entrepreneurs in the area. When not working on council business, Emma enjoys cycling through the Borsetshire countryside and is an active member of a local book club.
